Une image vidéo ne saurait n'être qu'une image de télévision, une image qui ne se contenterait d'habiter que le moniteur. Cette image doit être elle-même habitée : cette co-existence peut tenir à la fois de la performance technologique (BARBIER, CARO), ou du concept (HILL, LA CASINIERE) ... L'art vidéo cherche à produire des images pleines.
